Contains the following type of materials: photographs. Covers the following war: Korean War, Vietnam War. Contains photographs of the following military units: Field Station 8612 Administrative Area Unite (AAU); 256th Signal Company. General description of the collection: The Alfred Farris collection photograph covers two periods of his military career - his assignments in Korea and Vietnam. Much of the collection deals with soldier life, his buddies and off-duty activities. There are several photos of a United Service Organizations (USO) show in Korea featuring Danny Kaye and Monica Lewis. Other photos both in Korea and Vietnam show the countryside and villages. A number of photos show the Vietnam Military Academy and cadets drilling and on parade.
